North Carolina’s Finish Line Grant (FLG) Program was created in 2018 by a partnership between the North Carolina Department of Commerce and community colleges to provide emergency assistance for unforeseen circumstances faced by community college students who are halfway complete with their academic program, initially funded through federal Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) funds.
