The Hope Center partnered with The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board to support students persistence and completion of credentials of value leading to successful career and labor market outcomes. We were contracted to provide training and technical assistance to 59 Texas colleges receiving implementation grants from the coordinating board. Our data collection, resources, and assistance focused on on the development, enhancement, redesign, and/or scaling of evidence-based programs and initiatives to address Basic Needs/Wrap-Around Services and Mental Health and Wellness.
In addition to helping colleges collect data to understand student basic needs broadly, inventory current practices, and plan and expand evidence-based practices to meet student needs, we also developed and offered a suite of new resources focused specifically on mental health in participation with the Meadows Mental Health Policy Institute:
