John Luke Piepgras is from Dallas, Texas and is in his fourth-year at the University of California, Los Angeles. In his first year at UCLA, John Luke joined Swipe Out Hunger and since then has been working to improve basic needs security on campus. Outside of class and Swipe Out Hunger, John Luke loves climbing, reading novels, and creative writing. After graduating with a B.A. in Political Science this Spring, John Luke plans to work in higher education and continue to find creative ways to make college more accessible and equitable.
