Jiayao Wu is a Senior Evaluation Associate at the Hope Center for College, Community, and Justice. Prior to joining the Hope Center, she worked as a lead graduate assistant with a team of researchers from University of Florida, Penn State University, Seton Hall University and Southern Methodist to examine the equity and effectiveness of state higher education funding policies. She also worked for multiple other grant-funded projects and had extensive experience in both quantitative and qualitative research and projects. She is skilled in experimental/quasi-experimental design as well as mixed-method design. Jiayao Wu was a graduate school doctoral fellow and earned a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration from University of Florida. She also earned a M.S. from Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis at University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics.
